Moderate amounts of some foods can be used in your
meal plan, in spite of their sugar and fat content, as long as you maintain calorie and
weight control. The following list includes average exchange values for some of these
foods. Because they are concentrated sources of carbohydrate, and in some cases fat, you
will notice that the portion sizes are very small.
